Skilling Orphaned Teenage Girls And Women In Tailoring
Skilling Orphaned Teenage Girls And Women In Tailoring
Tuweereza Eden Ministries adopted vocational skilling in tailoring to be offered to teenage school dropped out and women in the poor communities. The concept is to help them to start home tailoring business to help themselves and others by imparting the same skills to others in the poor communities.
Kevin Bavewo (in photography) is one of the orphans who have been helped in this program. She is a complete orphan whose parents passed away when she was six (6) years old. We sponsored for her primary and high school ordinary certificate of education. We lacked the money that was required to meet the costs for her further academic studies. She had a calling to gain skills in tailoring and hair dressed and we prayed about it.
Dr.Christopher and wife Simone Liebergreen based in Australia helped to sponsor Kevin Bavewo’s vocational Certificate course in tailoring, catering and hairdressing which she studied at the same.
The project is in need of funding to pay for facilitation of training and teaching materials. Materials needed include Sewing machines, parts for their repair, Cloth, patterns, and other tailoring supplies. The project is also geared forward in helping other little girls aged 4-16 years studying at Nakalongo Christian primary school to be provided and clothes by dresses made by the teenage girls. Financial support of this project would help us further reach the community demand for skill training and provision of dresses to the girl children in schools. Your donation of sewing machines, Materials, would be greatly appreciated.
