Eden Goat Project Program
Eden Goat Project Program
The program benefits vulnerable people in the communities we operate. The people in the operational communities are peasant farmers who have been involved in all their lives in livestock farming. The practice of rearing goats is not new; it is part of the way of life of the people. We started with indigenous bread and each beneficiary was supplied with one she-female goat. The goats meat on is higher market than that of the rest of the animals and it can fetch reasonable income at household level. There is need to shift to the breed of goats that provides milk. Your generous donation can support a family to be uplifted out of poverty so that the people in the family can be able to get the basic needs. The cost for a goat of the exotic breed is at $120.
